Doopy comes to us from rural, southern WV. His owner died, and there was no family to care for him. He's a good dog, very friendly, affectionate, and handsome. He does well in a crate. He is a bit overweight, but aren't we all? He does well on a leash, too.
Update from foster: Doopy does great in our house with 1 large dog, a Jack Russell, and a foster Jack Russell puppy (Noella). He had no reaction to our 2 outdoor barn cats. He sniffed, and was uninterested & walked away. He absolutely loves his crate. We've had no accidents in the house. He has no reaction to toys, and doesn't seem to know what to do with them.
He can be a grump when the JRT puppy pesters him too much. He does great in the car, and loves to go for a ride. He just an easy dog. Eat, sleep, does his business, takes a walk, sleeps some more... and repeat. He's super happy when we get home from work, and is just a great dog. He's going to be a wonderful family member for a lucky family!
Doopy currently takes an antibiotic for a skin issue, most likely from a diet that wasn't grain-free. We recommend grain free dry food for The Doop.
