Felipe comes to us from a southern WV shelter, where he was part of a hoarding case.  He's a shy boy.  We don't think he's ever been on a leash, or had a yard to run and play.  He was very scared at the shelter, which can be a noisy, confusing, and scary place.  We ask that if he's adopted into a home with children, that they be older, more mature children.  We don't know what he's like with cats.  Felipe will be a true rescue story!  We can't wait to watch him flourish, thrive, and experience love.  We know he is full of unconditional love and is just waiting for his forever family to adopt him and love him forever.

We know he's a mixed breed dog, but you be the judge.  Cavalier King Charles?  Mini Aussie?  Pomeranian?  Chihuahua?  Sheltie?  Cocker?  We see quite a bit there!  Assume his house training skills are a work in progress.  We see this often with hoarding situations.  Patience and routine will result in success!

His foster says:  He has learned to walk on a leash pretty well and has adjusted nicely to the house and to our other two dogs. He's super friendly, playful, and likes human affection.  As for house training - aside from the first day, he hasn't had any issues inside and is going to the bathroom outside on schedule with the other dogs.  He is a wonderful dog!
