Update:  JR is starting to really enjoy life with his foster.  He loves his daily leash walks with her around the neighborhood. He is learning how to play with toys and gets along with the family dog .  JR is timid and needs a family that will have lots of patience  with him.   He has so much to offer a loving family.  

JR comes to us as a stray dog that found himself in the shelter!  He would do best in a home with no small children.  He's playful, fine around other dogs, and he's ok with cats, too!  In pure Maltese form, he can be cautious when meeting new people.  Research the breed, so you're familiar with the characteristics of the Maltese.  He's working on his house training skills!
